Thanks to the simultaneous application of narrow band codecs and digital error correction, the MD782/MD782G offers you outstanding audio quality in loud environments and in boundary regions of the radio coverage.
The MD782/MD782G features an analog as well as a digital mode and is compatible with the currently used analog systems, thereby simplifying your transition into the digital age.
Thanks to the TDMA process, the MD782/MD782G enables you to assign the available bandwidth with double channel capacity. This has a clear mitigating effect on increasing spectrum scarcity. Encryption using encryption algorithm ARC4 (40 bit) in accordance with DMRA or optional algorithms AES128 and AES256 (128 and 256 bit) ensures secure communication.
The MD782/MD782G complies with the standards MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G and meets the IP54 degree of protection. A high degree of reliability is assured even in harsh environments. Besides the traditional communication functions, the MD782/MD782G features numerous digital and optional functions, including text messages, GPS location determination and a lone worker function.
Upgradeable software makes the use of new features possible. By altering the firmware-software, other digital and analog operating modes can be enabled, without the need for purchasing a new radio device.

Automatic Number Identification (ANI): After HDC2400TM or HDC1200 signalling is received, the radio will display the ID or alias of the other party. The radio firmware supports a selective call list containing up to 128 (128 for TM-610, 8 for TM-600) items.
Emergency Alarm: The emergency button allows for a transmission of a signal indicating an emergency situation.
Kill and Revive: The kill function permits an authorized radio to remote disable another lost radio. This function can ensure you higher security and is perfect for the radio rental business. A killed radio will return to operational use when the revive code is received.
DTMF Function:The DTMF calling function offers flexible dialing procedures of alias dialing, auto dial and redial as well as manual dialing. Customized, user friendly number storage can be used for your most often called numbers.

The MD785G duplex from Hytera offers ergonomic design in combination with functions according to DMR Tier III, the DMR radio standard for digital trunked radio. With the MD785G duplex, duplex calls can be made without having to press the PTT button. A handset with a complete keypad are required for communication.
